I installed westin running boards on my sister in-laws 2008 explorer several months ago and can't for the life of me find the one wire to hook the running board lights to. I'm hoping someone here can help and give me a hint as to where to look.
I've been pouring over wiring diagrams and found that a yellow wire with a grey stripe is part of the courtesy lighting system. That wire goes into the smart junction box below the drivers side A-pillar but I can't find it when it goes out into the engine bay. It's been like trying to find a needle in a haystack and I'm sure hoping someone can tell me where it is.
