I have a 1997 Explorer XLT 4x4, the problem with my explorer is when I cut the wheel deep it kicks into 4wd and I have to get on a hill to disengage it and sometimes it doesn't work, I've been told it's been it could be a sensor, could be a motor on the transfer case, could be the clutch fork in the four wheel drive? Also the 4wd lights are flashing sometimes going down the road, Thanks again.
