Ok.... I was out the other night, and ditched my truck off the highway, got pulled out and now the transmission does not work. Diffs are ok, pretty sure t-case is too. With having the 5.0 in my 97 explorer, what other transmissions will bolt up in my truck? crossmember mounting is not a concern as i am a fabricator. Will a tranny, t-case combo out of a ford fullsize truck work, maybe just driveshaft mods? I know these explorers are kind of rare, but am sure something else will work, besides would like to get rid of the all time awd. Need to figure this out quick, truck is tying up the shop. Thanks.
