  • Hello people! I would like to disable my auto 4x4 in my 2004 Ford Explorer XLT. Reason is, it simply has been bothering me because there's no need for it in normal conditions in my opinion. I thought about pulling the fuse or running a switch to the fuse line but I don't know if that can cause problems. In the manual it says just 4x4 all alone on one fuse... Can anyone help me please?
