Yea you read it right.. I still think i can go bigger! my 33's havent rubbed once and still look tiny to me.

Anyone around NJ/PA have some 35's i can test fit?

Problem is i dont think anyone has ever had my set-up before

You just got those 33's. Call dave up.

Edit: Nevermind, he has a different bolt pattern.

well here's my plan :smoke: :

Serena is probably gonna buy this

Ok, now follow me here... my tires are just for the summer cause i commute to school, so in about a month from now im gonna have to put my 32" AT's back on which im really dreading. But if she buys that, since she wont be commuting to school- my 33" Xterrains go on that explorer and those 33" AT's go on mine.. and i get some 35"s for wheeling :bounce:

sound like a plan?

Ahhh, Serena will like red's truck. So you dont want to put all the miles on your new 33's when you go back to school. I guess since Mike isnt selling his anymore you have to get this one. Serena must really want an Explorer, thats awesome.

Is that the same guy selling the red X that was on here a few years ago and talked about hauling ass all the time and running from the cops?

Those 33's do look rather small, especially in the front with those Perry's Fenders. If you do go with the 35's, it looks like you might have to do some trimming on your rear flares though.

itd be nice if you had a thread from that saved.... id like to read. still its $5K

Yea i might have to trim a little of the rear plastic, not much though.... im thinking 35x12.50 on a 15x10 rim and 3.75" backspacing will look sweet. Right now my rims are 15x8 so they dont seem to stick out far enough..

You could fit that no sweat...also...time to change the sig now that you have 33s. :p

Im pondering what i should do...

Do i get 35" ATs for the looks on the street and keep 33" tires for wheeling considering ill never rub with my 33's?

Or do i get 33" ATs for commuting to save on gas and 35" tires for wheeling so i have better ground clearance and a bigger footprint?

Or both 35" in which case ill be dropping some serous cash...

**im gonna take some pics in a few minutes that give a better idea of my clearance issues.

Heres the pictures.. The first two are the rear, im not really concerned there cause i can trim easily:

Now the front: You can see the plastic that can easily be cut away and then the pinch weld that i could use the BFH to bend in... these next two shots signify the closest my currect tires come to any part on my body:

Still think 35's are feasable?
Man i wish i didnt have to commute- then i wouldnt have to worry about 2 sets of tires and rims :banghead:

buy a beater

That's actually not a bad idea. Get an Accord and rice it out. :p

yeah something like that or a camry or something 4dr. Something nice that you can get you and whatever around in. And nothing to rice out because thats money that can be spent on the truck.

What?!?! No riceing?!?! Dang. Well if you don't get a beater, which you prob. won't, I think you should go with 35" AT's for street and the 33" MT's for the dirt. That would look really sweet. But if you're looking to save some extra cash, the 33's for street and 35's for dirt might be a better option.

ok a few thousand for a beater + keeping it running and fixing it all the time + buying tires

or

A few hundred for another set of tires for my reliable truck which happens to also blow beaters away on the trails...

Im actually leaning towards just a set of 35" AT's, the people i wheel with all have AT's and are like 32's...but i need to know if 35's will even fit first

Just find a jeep site and ask a NJ jeeper to let you try his 35's on. There's got to be tons of jeeps with 35" tires in NJ.

OK man I can help you out. You would have to come to me though. PM me
Edit, would be on 10 inch rim with 3.75 or 4 back space. cant remember which

im almost positive 35's will fit.. the only thing that would make them not fit is going up to a 10" wide rim,

Where's alec at?

Ok chris isn't responding so he's prolly passed out...

Can anyone tell me how much lift he is running in this pic? Someone mentioned TT & SOA.. but that dont sound right..

You can always borrow a set from Doug while he's away.. I'm sure his parents will be more than willing to let you into the garage to get access to them.. Since your there, you might as well keep the 35s and swap the out with your 33s.. He'll need smaller tires to get the truck shipped to him..
