silver lake sand dunes 7/15

my crew and myself are makin a run up to silver lake Fri nite the 14th and plan on wheelin all day saturday the 15th anybody got any suggestions on where to camp?

Last time I was up there we camped at Ludington state park, but that is like 10 miles away from the dunes. It was pretty nice, but we got yelled at by the park ranger cause we were burning pallets.

What ya think Arnie another Silver Lake run this year?

I would like to atleast wheel the Explorer atleast once a month.

And yeah the Silver Lake campground was nice the last visit.

Jen and I are on vacation over the 4th of July....so the 15th is probably too soon for our bank accounts.

it was an awesome time, not to much carnage, we were on the dunes fri nite, saturday, and sunday, my only probs were an idler pulley and when i got my MAF a little wet, i did get a flat tire though, but my on-board-air i set up right before we went came in handy for several people, many i didn't even know, a cherokee in the group lost his motor (hammering like crazy) and a s10 blazer sucked up to much water and is hammering now to,

i killed my drivers side wheel bearings, and lost both inner fenders.

my wheel bearings are fine it turns out that my chewed up tire is out of round.
