Albino -

Do me the favor of a phone call between 6:00 and 7:00 if you can't make the link-up. . .

No worries if you can't make it - - just remember you can snowhoe on virtually any weekend; getting a couple of Explorer's together in Washington seems to be a pretty rare occurrence.

No worries, we'll be there.

Wifey will be OK, she gets to drive the Lincoln while we're gone.:censored:

How did it go?

Deep, very deep, very very deep.

31's were way too small, 33's weren't big enough either.

I think we needed 44's and a Truggy.

The first area we only got about 1/4 mile before the '64 F250 started dragging their rear axel, after about 100ft, it was too much and they stopped. I tried to nudge them from behind and dug myself in. I had to use my winch on myself:banghead:

A couple hundred feet further and my front pumpkin was pushing too much snow and I stopped again. We waited there for a club to pass us in the ditch:cool:(Truggy with 44's followed by several others with at least 38's), then dug out and turned around in the path they made.

Then we went to Reiter for a little while. Climbed the power line until the snow got too slick for good traction. By then it was around 2 so we called it a day.

Bryan's sis's Bronco will be a good one for a full size.

Pauls Sport is really nicely built with traditional Explorer running gear. He needs some sliders and he'll be ready for Evans Creek and Elbe.

I'll try to post up some pics in the next day or so. We don't have many from the deep snow as we were all busy digging out.

All in all, a good day. These are good folks to wheel with and I look forward to going out with them again. I suggested we go over to the Liberty area off SR97 this summer. Easy wheeling but great views.

Did you guys air down:rolleyes:
Glad you guys had fun

Not enough but with 31's it wouldn't have made any difference. I had chains front and back, just not enough ground clearance.

Glad you made it home safe Phil. We have a lot of fun (even in the DEEP snow). Yeah pretty impressed with the Bronco though. Surprised it was the only truck to not get stuck...Liberty sounds like a good time, let me know if any plan begins to form. We'll be there for sure!

Have you heard from Paul??

Must have been the driver:rolleyes: Wait until your sister starts driving it:eek:

Have not heard from Paul, maybe I'll call him this evening just to make sure.

Why am I sore? I know why I'm tired.

Yeah, after you guys took off I let her drive it around a little. Not very good at it just yet...She needs a lot of practice and needs to look way ahead instead of right in front (ran right into a fallen tree). I have some good pics I will post when I get home from work.

"Reports of my disappearance are highly overrated. . ."

Hi Guys -

All is well. Kind of thought you might notice that I posted a new thread "Hang Over Revisted" once I got back to Tacoma last night, even though I didn't have any photos to post. . .

The thread: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums//showthread.php?t=203346 No need to go to it. . .

Once again, a great time, looking forward to getting back again soon (with operating winch and maybe new tires. . .).
