Ok i have a 1996 Ford Explorer Sport. Whenever i turn the wheel i hear this squeak coming from the from wheels. I'm not sure what it is. Anyone have any ideas? I just noticed this sqeeking noise, is it normal?

I believe its the ball joint or whatever its called. Or could it be the power steering? It has enough oil and the wheel insnt hard to turn though.

it looks like something is wrong...it is wet as if something blew.......if u arent leaking anything and all ur busshings and stuff have greese could it be ur schocks? does it squeck whe u frock the front up and down?

man, that is pretty clean looking...altho the shock looks like it blew a cartridge....its covered in gunk isnt it?

I took it be checked one of those Tire Auto Care places and first they said that the power steering had too much oil. It was leeking since i guess i over filled it and when it heats up iot spill out. But i said i doubt thats the reason why.
SO after they finished inspecting they said it was:
Lower and Upper Ball Joints and the Tie Rod ends and control arms.

I checked it when they had it on the lift and teh ball joints were all torn and pretty much destroyed. they were pretty much like this butt they had no grease.

So i got thir estimate and They were gonna replace that and do a somthing with the breaks.

The total that its gonna cost me is $1,409.14

Does this sound right? not the cost but what they say is wrong.
