I recently purchased a 2007 Eddie Bauer. I don't have the money to start dropping in on a bunch of modifications, but would like some recomendations of where to start.

I am pretty happy with the apperance of the vehicle, so I am really looking for performance enhancing stuff.

Should I get a K&N, or upgrade the intake to something else, etc...

Thanks.

uin2it

ur sport trac sounds bad ass i love how it sounds

I also have the Nocturnal Performance Intake tube, with a magnaflow exhaust.

The exhaust is alittle loud for my liking without the resonator but the tone is great, I'm looking for a high flow resonator.

The Noc-Perf intake made a huge difference in letting the engine breath. I plan to do the MAF and filter then the VMP tune that'll probably keep me happy for a while.

However I am looking into either 3.90 or 4.10 gears, I think as tall as the tranny is geared one or the other should really wake this thing up without sacrificing much on mpg.

Did you ever dyno your truck completely stock to see what gains you got from the mods?

You might want to try Ram Air via the passenger side nostril in the grill since you have an EB. The stock air filter intake horn is right behind the plastic guard behind the nostril. I am looking into how to remove the guard and make a custome scoop to fit up behind the nostril.
