I think the single pipe that hangs off the back of our 06+ Explorers is the worst looking part of the vehicle especially when these day's other SUV's have duals integrated into the rear fascia! I want to do somthing different back there but know there is not a lot of room underneath which means that the pipe has to hang below the rear fascia and you can see it all the way back almost to the axle.
Would love to see what others have done to get some ideas!

Nothing special, just thought I would share...
Dumps behind the rear axle as you can see on the third pic.

You can hear it here. Post #492

Here is a sweet dual set up I found on Car Domain. Looks like the pipes are run under the rear axle.

Nice STA! & the Magnaflows sound good. At least Ford put some decent tips on the Adrenalin's, don't know why they couldn't put somthing better on the Explorer's.
Who else has customized their exhaust on 06+'s?

I put a Gibson cat-back system on my V8. The website says for 2wd only but it will fit a 4wd. It's only a single 3" system with a 3.5" stainless tip. After looking under my truck a dual system will be very tight to fit. The gas tank and filler neck take up all the room on the passenger side. I suppose you can take the spare tire out and run a cross pipe to the passenger side, but a true dual system is nearly impossible.

Sounds cool. Got any pics of your Gibson setup?

yeah let see some pics

Sorry for the delay guys, here's some pics. Also included is a picture of the K&N FIPK that I installed on my truck as well.
