I've searched for this and only found a limited amount of information. I think I want my next big $ mod to be some quality seat covers. I've been running with a $20 Walmart pair for a couple years now, and they're really falling apart and don't look too good. I'd like to invest a little cash and get some high quality covers that will last me a while and look good. I've read good things about Wet Okole seat covers, but I wanted some more definitive first-hand experience. Can anyone who has these chime in? Can anyone provide close-up photos demonstrating the fit, etc? I'd rather not spend $300 on 2 seat covers without getting some pretty convincing positive reviews and pictures.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ive had these in the focus for like 3 years or so. not all that long after i got the car in 06. ive spent about 60K sitin on those seat covers including trips all over the east coast with em. mine are kinda faded now but only because i never took care of them. (they got half heartedly cleaned last week for the first time)
when i ordered them they made me send a couple of pictures of the seats to them to makesure they were 100% correct. the fit is pretty much as perfect as a seat cover can be imo. aside from the red fading a bit, and just how much dirt i trck in the car they have held up well and the material is still all in good shape. money well spent if you ask me

I had a set that came on a replacement 60/40 seat for my Ranger, both the seats and covers were used. I was happy with the fit, and that they didn't shift around from getting in and out constantly. Mine were two tone just like Surreal's pic, only grey and black.
After several years, the grey area started to fade away to show the black underneath, but keep in mind these were used when I got them.
They suggest regular maintenance cleaning and they give you special soap, but I never washed them, and finally threw them away when they got too ratty. :D

Jay, could you get a picture or two for me from the back, so I can see how they wrap around and under? I'm very curious. Thanks for the input. I was thinking about getting black-on-black with red piping.

Glad to hear yours didn't shift around, Bill.

Did you guys have any complaints with the material being sweaty or itchy for ya?

Techie, as for getting new seats, I have no problem with my seats at the moment except the color. I'd like them to look clean and black, and I like seat cover material better, too - let's me slide in and out of the seat easier. I really don't think I'd be able to find black vinyl bucket seats to replace mine, and even if I did, not sure it's worth all the effort when I could just cover 'em up and protect them.

The Wet Okole is probably the best you can do for custom seat covers that look like custom upholstered seats, BUT there are some pretty decent inexpensive ones out there too, even though they are "universal" and designed more for looks for the ricers who want the look of custom seats without paying for it.

I don't bother with seat covers anymore. I had some on a vehicle years ago, and apparently they trapped moisture in the factory vinyl/cloth they were supposed to be protecting. When I took them off, the factory vinyl was breaking up and even falling apart in some places.

If you do get some, you should probably remove them every so often, both to wash the seat covers, and to "air out" the seats underneath.

For the $300, I'd spring for a Recaro or Sparco driver seat...

Can't comment on the Wet Okole's in a Ranger, but I bought a set for my 2001 Lightning, as I was working construction at the time. Today, the factory seats in the Lightning look brand new after removing the WO's.
I might add the WO's look new also.............
