Anyone up for a round of "identify this"

Actually it's more like a round of identify what used to be here, but isn't anymore.

I just noticed those little jagged plastic peices where it look like something has been broken off. they are directly behind the front bumper under the radiator on the bottom of the frame. two on each side. any one have any idea what is supposed to be there?

Anyone got a pic of one?(just curious to see what it looked like) I take it this isn't something important that i need to run right out and replace.
