Ok I was reading forum here yesterday about tranny cooler. where it was and if it was. but could´t find this forum again. But when I was looking for the cooler (2004 Explorer V8) which by the way was between engine cooler and AC/cooler. But here is the question when I was looking I saw, right behind the grill some connector and was wondering I anyone know what it is here are the pictures also off the cooler..
Thanks

The liitle "connector" you named is the A/C temp sensor... I think...if you have the automatic A/C control inside....

The "connector" circled in the 1st picture is actually the outside temp sensor. If you have automatic climate control then it is used for that and also used for displaying the outside temp. If you don't have automatic climate control then it is just used for for displaying the outside temp.

If anyone is interested here is a pic of the trans cooler .
