:D

Here we go, kids... (Not bad for an hour and 10 minutes...)

IMG_2388.jpg

Maybe you can teach me how to do that lol. i need to pull my carpet and look into some wiring issues(and its been in water up to the bottom of the front seats)

Joe: Did you find any Treasures? Over the years I've found some good stuff. Mostly junk.

Nope- I have to count the change tonight, bot from what I see other than that there was a pen, a massive dead beetle, and a key. Kind of disappointing. Shad mentioned that he lost his wedding ring a few years ago, and I was hoping it was in there someplace, that would have been a cool find to mail back to him...

Icky dirt yes. Rust? Nope. :shifty_ey

The only way there would be rust in there is if I took off Brian's rear bumper and tossed it in there for storage. :D

Hahahaha:D My hood has a wee bit of rust in it, can that live there too? It's had all of it's shot's and a tetnus booster last year so Deuce shouldn't catch anything.:D

That's not rust, just left over coffee stain's :D A bit o' irish whiskey will fix that!

If I pull those brackets out and sandblast them at work, is that a moot point? :D

I'll pull the steel wool at least- just 'cuz... lol!

rb- easy to remove. To pull carpets- 24 bolts, 4 screws, 3 plastic trim pieces to pop off, 4 christmas tree pushpins, and 1 hour.

By the way- this is rust: :D

Drove the guts to the car wash today... :D

It's amazing how loud the old girl is with no insulation and holes in the floor from missing bolts. Plus, I was too far back, I was pushing the gas with my toe, and started getting cramps. It's that time of the month for me, so lay off, or everyone gets cut off.

What we're starting with. Kind of mad that there is a cut in the carpet under the console. I don't care about the cut per-se since it's hidden under the console and will make getting to the access panel easier, but it made the carpet impossible to hang up like I would have normally liked.

On the rack, on with the pre-treat, game face on point. It's important to be in control of the wand. I learned that from Lynchy.

"Mate, you've got to be in control of your wand. When you lose control, you spray everything- and then you spend the rest of your life wondering if you sprayed something you shouldn't have..."

Words to live by. It transcends car washing. The guy is a f'n poet.

IMG_2398.jpg

After a 2 minute spray down of soap. We're getting there, looks good. Probably the best of the 5 carpets I've done this way. I was pleasantly surprised. I spent $5.50 in quarters for the job.

IMG_2400.jpg

Drip dry? Water is clean now. It wasn't before, that's for sure... Had to rinse for about 4 minutes to get the water running clear. LOTS of dirt in the pile. It would have taken me forever with an extractor.

IMG_2401.jpg

Ben's pink soap did well... I also liberally washed myself. I was going to tear my shirt off and go all Jessica Simpson on it, but figured that would get my thread dropped a star, and since I'm only at 4 stars now, I can't afford to lose one or I end up being a 3-star ordinary thread, so the shirt stayed on. Sorry all, the moobs stay in my shirt for now.

IMG_2399.jpg

...and after

IMG_2402.jpg

Not bad. 90% is gone, I can work the other 10% at home, and get it top notch. As bad as the carpet was, it wasn't the worst I've had by any stretch, I was surprised. I thought it was the worst before, but it got better once I got it out. It cleaned up well. The "dirt" in the driver's side well is more shadow than dirt. It's about the same as the passenger side.

IMG_2403.jpg

Another angle...

IMG_2404.jpg

Let's roll home... Kids, don't try this at home. It's grossly illegal to drive like this.
I don't care- I'm Joe Dirt, and I eat pieces of sh... no, wait, wrong movie.

Thankfully, I drive right up the side street to go home. No, I didn't move there because of the proximity of the car wash, so lay off...

Hahahahahaahhaahahahahaahahahahaa:D:D:D:thumbsup:

Awwwwesooome mate, Yes, child support can be a pain. That's why I HAVE invested in a roll of goat intestine's. (ribbed for her pleasure of course:D)

I sure as HELL hope they're not still attached to the goat. If they are, do NOT post the process for dispensing them... :D

First....nah, Hahahahaa:D:D:D

My bumper not that rusty!!

Icky dirt yes. Rust? Nope. :shifty_ey

The only way there would be rust in there is if I took off Brian's rear bumper and tossed it in there for storage. :D

My bumper not that rusty. lol Now if you would of said rear doors (dog legs!)! lol :D
