Thank you very much i just got her in november of 2010 w 17000mi and other than paying it off ive been spending most of the rest of my $$ making it look up to standards haha
well i live in the city during the week for college and i live in a much more rural area on the weekends so i see the best of both. stock it was about 14-15 city and 16-18 highway
now after my kkm air intake and magnaflow catback i get 15-17 city and 18-24 highway getting a custom tune from brenspeed soon should help out mpg a little as well

Ok well here my friend (Ocean Pacific) and I are trying to do dougnuts in the snow in a tight parking lot being extra cautious with light polls sticking up waiting for someone to hit them lol.. but thats only a problem because the snow SUCKS for some reason.. Normally this parking lot is a piece of cake and can drift around the polls like Ken Block lol.. We both agreed that we couldn't even do dougnuts half as well as usual.. oh well. I'll post a better video when we get some better snow! But for now this is all I got..

BTW sorry for the poor sound quality.. didn't pick up anything but the blizzard we were in.

Thank you so much for those helpful tid bits!!! I will defiantely be on the look out for those products. If you don't mind me asking, what other tools or resources, do you reach out to to help better you mpg without loosing performance? I.E. websites, brands, parts, anything that could effectively get me to reach maximum mpg with no performance loss. Any help would be much appreciated. The exhaust, and Air filter are the only two places I know of to start that I know for sure thing will help me reach my goal. I've seen chips claim better performance, but, no too sure. Many thanks in advance!

oh man then your just getting your feet wet haha im looking at getting steeda pulleys, eventually eliminating the cat after my preowned warranty is up and adding dual exhaust. Soon i will be getting a tune from a mustang performance shop called brenspeed you can look at their site www.brenspeed.com i will be getting their custom sct III tune which will incorporate all the performance upgrades that i already have, this should raise hp about 30 and tq about 35 or so along with helping mpgs. it costs 375$ they also have been putting saleen superchargers onto mountaineers and the adrenaline series sport tracs there are videos of them on the site on dynos putting down damn close to 500 hp and adding 7 or 8 mpg if you can keep your foot out of it. I have noticed when watching my mpgs after i reset the meter if you try to coast in your vehicle as much as possible and accelerate going downhill your mpg stays much higher than usual but when your in the city theres not much you can do. hope some of this helps i will be re posting when i have more first hand experiences with these products

lol freaking WOW!! Tonight we just got good snow and went to the high school parking lot and it was 100x better!!! Able to whip dougnuts like nothin. But... of course the camera was dead tonight:banghead: Still cant believe it.

wow, let us know how that goes! and the results.
I did some testing this morning, my trip to work is 25 miles, all highway. So I decided to see as best as I can, how much mpg I am getting, since thats all the driving I really do besides to gf and school(3x's a wk) I reset the mpg thing as soon as I got on the highway, and my results are as follow.

If I was to stay right around 1900-2100 rpm, which is right around 70mph. I get 21.5 mpg.

Staying at 70mph wasn't the hardest part, the hardest part was controlling my heavy foot, going up/down hills, stopping, coasting etc.

PWR Adict, hey did you have to lift your wifes ex or cut out fender well ,or anything? to put those tires on it ? cause im running 22x9.5 as well with 265 35 22 my pics are on pg 16 or 15 of this thread. and i want to get some aggressive rubber because mine are too low profile for me i feel too much of the road. by the way is your speedometer off much from this tire rim combo?

Mine sure is. My buddy timed me on the freeway. When it said 82mhp, I was really going 95. I'm running 33's

Wow, why not just get one of those Flash things to correct your speedo? I'd definitely have like 5+ tickets if I were in your position. They sell them on autoanything for like $300, which is a lot, but they can do gear changes and other stuff too. And not to mention, that's only the cost of like 1.5-2 tickets.

yea but I got used to it, and I only plan on keeping this thing for a another year or so.. don't really want to spent any money I dont need too. And theres a reason Im not doing the gear change.. even the non-brain surgeon's should be able to figure it out;)

And theres a reason Im not doing the gear change.. even the non-brain surgeon's should be able to figure it out;)
Its cause you like flooring the accelerator to get your ex to move. :D
