And sure ill keep an eye open, never seen a junked 4th gen but ill keep my eyes peeled for third gen heated + puddle lights

Not sure, I always just figured it was because I have the XLT Sport, but my buddy has it in his 03' F250, so I'm not sure what trims it was specifically for.

Cause my radio and climate control bezel is carbon fiber and a small trim area on the doors and that is it. Does not look too bad, but would prefer to be without it if it is not stock!

No it's definitely stock. Just not sure if it's supposed to be stock with the trim package you have, but since you have it on the doors as well. I doubt you had a previous owner that would have done just that to the truck.

i now have the carbon fiber bezel and door trim pieces after my interior swap. i think it looks pretty good with my black leather. ive seen the carbon fiber in both explorers and the mountaineer i got my interior from, they were both v8's...coincidence?

LOL! My girlfriend told me I should put it on the truck! So I painted it orange, and for future reference: ALL of the plastic can be done with model car paint! That is how I did the letters black and did a bunch of small areas in the interior. Just be sure to use a auto grade clear coat or it will come off!

Nothing special all stock except for overhead tv. I dont even use it though I prefer corny road road trip singing with the rugrats.

FYI for everyone, a plastic bag from walmart or what not fit PERFECTLY over the rotors and such if you decide to paint your calipers.

I just used because it was an alternative to using conventional metal spray paint. I saw some guys on youtube do it and I wanted to black my wheels. Very satisfied with the outcome.
