Does anyone know if the one that fits the 4.6 will fit 4.0?

Searching on K&N's site says they take the same part number.

I just did a quick research to this and, from what i found, it seems to be interchangeable. Don't quote me, but I do, from what I found, believe it is interchangeable

I had looked at the site too and it sais a part #57_2537 then a#57_2539 that is the site difference. But I don't know what that really means

Alright I'll call the guy tomorrow

So I have the intake in hand, its a little different but it's okay i can make it work, except does anyone know where i could pick one of these up

I thought that so I was looking all over lowes website to find a price but i couldn't find any rubber couplers

Oh, do you know about how much they run?

The Loch Ness Monster says its about 3.50...

lowes was $7, at the moment it is squshed in place, my MAF plug wasn't the same at the one in the tube if it was it would fit perfect, so for mine i took the MAF housing and coupled it to the end of the plastic making it almost four inches longer (the reason its squished)
I'll get pictures for you guys tomorrow, any ideas on if it would be possible to build a mini platform to bolt to the plastic then bolts to the correct MAF?

got the day light pictures, i think it got louder when i run WOT but other than that and the hiss it seems like nothing changed

After deciding that the k&n was a smaller tube and engineering mind in me said that means it's restricting flow, i decided to take it all back off and now i have the stock setup except instead of the air box i have the k&n filter

Good choice.

Thank you, oh wise joe.
If owls are know for knowledge, then dirt should be know for much more, it sees everything.

And yeah I figured if airflow is restricted then the intake is losing those extra particles, but after fittling around with this thing enough could anyone tell me what the thing hanging on the stock tube is (big bulky thing can't miss it)
