Awesome! How'd the truck do (as if I can't guess )? Did you leave the sway bars connected? Thoughts on the tires?

Yeah I loved the tires! There is so much grip. I aired down to 25psi and they grabbed absolutely everything. I wish I had the flex pics that the other guys took of my truck. I didn't disconnect the sway bars at all and I still had good flex.

Another question: what'd ya do for the spare?

Threw the spare in the bed under the cover. Just enough room for tools and the tire.

I just watched the videos on the run thread, even the one not posted. Sweet. Wish everything wasn't so far. I still hope to make a run to Durhamtown before classes start again but nothing has panned out so far.

When do yours start? My lease starts the 15th and theres like 10 days before classes start...

Classes start the week of the 13. I haven't finalized my schedule so I'm not exactly sure on which day I'll actually start but probably either that Tuesday or Thursday. I could possibly drive a little further even but I'd have to plan something pretty well in advance for work.

I'll go ahead and start a run thread and maybe we can get more people to come. I'm liking the idea of durhamtown. There's a lotta people in ga that could get there.

I'll continue this discussion in that thread. Excited already.

Is anyone runnin 33x12.50x15 with just a TT and add a leafs all the shops I've called are tellin me I've gotta do a BL to gettm to fit. I kno I've seen people on here runnin that setup but wanna make sure. I'm mechanically challenged so not sure I wanna tackle BL myself but prob only way I'm gonna be able to afford everything at once.

you can run 33" x 12.50" 15" treads with just a TT and a shackle (or) AAL set up in the rear. you will have to do some trimming but it can be done.

And the trimming needed is cosmetic. Nothing major

picked up my body lift and add a leafs today! might of worked out a deal with a buddy hes gonna do my body lift and im gonna fix his pool leak. that sure beats the $800 they wanted to do a body lift and $600 they quoted me for TT ,add a leafs and alignment. now my only problem is i really wanna run BFG allterrains and 33x12.50x15 are on backorder nobody seems to have them and might have to go with 285x75x16 on stock wheels. anyone runnin trail grapplers how are the on wear i drive alot for work probably wont go as far as the BFG's huh?

Alright guys, been a while since ive posted. Good to see you back around. I love how that truck is lookin!

I posted in the off road planning section in a Durhamtown thread.

as lono said you can with tt and shackles or aal. we know because we've done it. but you gotta be a 2wd to do it. you dont wanna do it on 4wd cause it would tear the cv axles up. a body lift can clear 33's too with little to no trimming involved. there are numerous threads on what tire you can clear with each type of lift. there are also numerous threads on how to do a body lift, torsion twists and shackles, and the aal's. just search around. you will learn a lot by reading other threads.
