Tiregate Fab?

32" tire fits between the frame rails in stock location, FYI.

Does a 285?? I'm getting mine soon and need to start investing in something to haul mine around.

Actually my 33 x 12.5 bfg at fits in there, so you should be fine. It's just not really protected while offroad

thanks Luke. Looks like I'll have to schedule my trip around when I can get a basket bought and thrown on.

If the funds for the basket delay your trip, you'd be just as safe droppin the spare for the trip, and tossing it into the bed - might consider some sort of lock though

that would work i guess. to each his own i say the hitch style is rated higher than or truck is even capable of plus it has mounting accesories for gerry cans, and a high lift. so when i reach the point of 32" tires i will invest into this mount thats luke for the link to these mounts.

I've got the Hitchgate ordered. It should ship either tomorrow or monday and then ~week til it gets here. Ill let you know what I think of it. My problem is I need the real tailgate so that my bedcover works and locks.

The only problem with the hitch one is it hurts your departure angle a little but I'm most likely going to throw it in the bed for off road trips.

This last trip I threw my 35 in the bed and had my cover that locks. Even after a bunch of tools I was able to still stuff a cooler and some other small stuff in there although most of the gear was in the back seat. Other than the strong smell of new rubber it worked great.

Well, when I get my 6 weeks worth of paychecks all at once I'm sure I'll be able to pick up a basket :D

if not I'll have bigger issues than not being able to go riding...

I wanted to get a basket since I already have the roof system but then I wouldn't be able to throw my snowboards on it with the tire still in it.

Hitch gate is really nice. But only if you plan on staying on asphalt or mild trails. I do too much in the rocks to be able to use it happily. It also blocks my aux lights mounted under my bumper rendering those useless. I'll be sending it back unless someone here wants it I'd be willing to cut a good deal on it.

Come again??? Are you saying you bought one, and are not satisfied with it, so you're selling?

Pics?

Yeah I don't want to keep it so I am going to sell it or just send it back. It's really nice and aggressive looking, just too much overhang for my liking. I'll post pics when I get home to my computer.

Sorry I don't have any overall pics just the 2 side pictures close up. You can kind of see the overhang in them though. It also has the license plate relocation kit that puts a light and your plate on the swing out bar.

Yeah, my buddy that has a lifted Ranger has one on his truck and I can't see how you can do any trailin' with that thing on there, his truck is a show truck so he's not worried about it but it definetly sticks out and kills the aproach and departure angles. It blocks his driverside brake light and sticks up about the bed so far it like having a parachute on the highway as well as blocking out your view completely ( this is what my buddy told me about his).

It doesn't go up over the bed very much (and this is a 35) or hang out the side. It didn't block too much of my vision but I already hit my hitch as it is I can't have anything hanging even further back. On a good note it was amazing to actually be able to use my bed again.

I was saying how it fit on my buddy's Ranger. I've seen it on a ST before and it doesn't block the vision bad. It also doesn't stick up above the bed anywhere near as much as his Ranger.

I gotcha. It also helps I have a BL but I didn't move the hitch up any. Protection for my lights and 7 pin harness :D

I dont:( And I already packed it all up for shipping. Although I might be convinced to take it back out and take some more.

I was gonna say you can check out pictures of Gay-breil's Trac, it's the same color as yours.
