So, on my Ex, I don't have the Message Center. Where it's switch would be located, I simply have a blank. I purchased a 4x Switch (4x Auto, 4x High, 4x Low) from a wrecker. I'd like to repurpose it for it's switch function. (Specifically for an Electric fan - manual on switch, or BWM, whatever)
I have ran into an issue.
In the first image, circled in Red is the letter "B" and a note saying 'See this Page.' This is a fine example of 'I ain't really telling you anything' from FORD.
So, I Noted 'C263 (Blue)' and '359 (Yellow.)'

This is what C263 is. Does anyone know what this is? The 359 is simply a pin within it.

That "B" is trying to tell you to find the other "B" on the same page. It is located towards the bottom of your photo. The PCM has 2 wires connected to the 4 WD selector switch. Now look close at that switch because it is not simply ONs and OFFs. Each selection has 3 different resistors. The resistance changes the current in that circuit and that is how the PCM can tell what is chosen (4 Auto, 4 Hi, or 4 Lo). I would be careful to use that switch for simple on-off functions.

The "C" prefix stands for connector. That circuit goes through Connector 263. This is a 1-1/2" x 3" bulkhead connector. Lots of circuits go through this. It is located near the emergency brake pedal.

The pin number in the connector is 24. The 359 is the circuit number.

Thanks for the info. I'd identified the wires otherwise, what you say makes sense. Would have been too easy otherwise right.
