Hi everyone, I did a quick search and didn't see where these had been discussed before and thought some of you might be interested in them. These are awesome little magnets that fit in the wells behind your door handles to prevent scratches. This was a big problem on one of my previous vehicles and I really wanted to find something to prevent it from happening to my Explorer. I know there are clear overlays on the market that do the same thing but I really like the contrast of cupeez, the zebra print looks awesome on the Platinum White. I've only had mine a few days and so far they seem to stay in place well. I'm curious how they will hold up in commercial car washes. Does anyone else have experience with this?

Also, what's the easiest way to post a picture from an iPad?

I just rip all of my finger nails off down to the nub-no scratches!

If the iPad is similar to a computer, the easiest way to load pictures is to take out a $20 Elite membership. That allows direct uploading of pictures on your device AND it helps to support this website.
Otherwise check out the New Member Introduction thread "Sticky" section.

Will do, Thanks!

Is that how they come or do you have to trim them to fit?

They come just like that! You heat the magnet side up with blow dryer for about 15 seconds so they will be moldable and stick them on! They have different patterns and colors to pick from too :-)

Thanks. I think I'll order a couple pairs.

Hopefully this works...

I just had my guy hand cut some Xpel film when he did all the rest of my clear bra. Works wonders and saves the paint from scratches!

Got mine in the mail. The "gloss black" is not glossy at all, and not very dark black either.

Having said that the designer cupees look nice and if matching the body color/accent is not your thing, they look nicer.

Cupees recommends cleaning the area weekly, from the looks of how water runs in and around the area, clear paint film is likely a better way to protect this area.

Sounds like they may have sent you the flat black by mistake. It might be worth a call to check, even if they didn't send the wrong ones they may refund your money. I ordered two sets, the black carbon fiber for my husbands F-150 and the zebra for my Explorer. Both arrived just as pictured. However, it turns out my husband can't use the set I ordered him, his door wells aren't metal.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks now without any problems even going through the car wash!

My last picture wasn't very clear so I'm trying again :-)
