Occasionally I do a search for new Explorer stuff on eBay. I came upon this one guy who is making some new items. He is in Hong Kong and is introducing some Explorer stuff to the market. I bought the rear deck lid and installed it about a hour ago. I am very, very pleased with the quality and ordered some more items from him a little time ago.

No, I don't know this guy from Adam as the saying goes, and some of his stuff is a little over the top, in my opinion, but some of it is really nice.

Here are three pics of what I bought. The speaker rings are not in yet, the other two pieces are.

I hope the covers in the back stand up against scratches better that the front door scuff plates. Looks good.

My gut tells me with time, they will not, not if I am constantly dragging crap across that back area. My issue is that after three years of dragging crap into the back, right now it looks pretty bad so this was a nice upgrade. I might go as far as buying a second one since I think the price is going to go up, and simply keep it on the side for down the road.

Hell, for that matter, I backed my 43' RV into the front bumper and decorated that with a 2" receiver impact point dead center! This is a work truck! LOL

Looks nice. Is the back bumper guard installed on top of the ford rubber one?

The only thing I would get is the bumper protector. I have one on my Nissan Murano, and it has definitely saved the bumper from a lot of unsightly scratches. Since my Explorer is also a work truck, I load and unload a lot of equipment and it tends to drag across the bumper.

I have the bumper protector too, stainless, much larger then the Ford. I am simply waiting for my double stick to weather a bit where I can get it off a bit easier and then put on the stainless bumper protector.

I also ordered the speaker covers. I'm not into a lot of bling but the doors, being so black, I think the speaker rings will provide a nice accent.

Id like to see it when everything is on.

Brush stainless out of H.K.

Here ya go.

Looks Great

Here ya go.

Hi,
that stuff looks great. I'd tried to find them, but the ebay seller did not respond.
Do you have the exact links to the parts, the Rear Bumper protector and the stainless cover?
I would appreciate your help.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum neusauger.:wavey:
In reading your post I'm guessing you have an Explorer. It would be very helpful if you added the 'model' of the Explorer to your profile so that it always shows in the margin.
Happy motoring.:)

That link a few messages up will bring you to his ebay listing of everything he is selling for the Explorer series.

I just got in the ignition shroud and the speaker accents, which is all I wanted to do and I should have those pics shortly.

Great.. Will like to know if the speaker accents goes on top of the existing molding or you have to remove the original ones....

Thanks in advance...

the speaker covers and key ring have a 3m industrial double stick so just clean the area really good and they'll stay on forever.

I like the look hope it holds up

Thanks...
