coming soon!! (lol sorry for getting you all excited)

Got in a minor traffic accident today.. old junk lawn chair in the road caused one car to stop, someone to slam on their brakes behind him, me slamming on my brakes behind them, and the guy behind me--- BAM.

Might cover me for a new bumper and maybe some sliders... :salute:

I think my truck won, but we'll see what the body shop finds when they disassemble everything.

Who's gonna make it? If you get someone to build a bumper a sliders specific to our trucks and will create templates for reproduction, count me in as their second customer.

I'd put your damaged cover on my '01 in a heartbeat. Still way better than what's on it now!

As long as you don't find any hidden/unseen damage- that is great. Not that you got hit but the fact it only looks like a scratch, comparing to the other guy who will have a huge repair bill with that front end. Looks to me your hidden hitch took the brunt of it and your spare was like a bumper car.

But definitely point everything out no matter how small. Does your spare go down still? It doesn't look like the other guys airbag went off

That made me laugh, not much of a yota fan, glad to see your ST came out looking pretty good.

Haven't decided yet - but have a couple of ideas. I'll keep you posted

Might be going with a local shop like sff or fcf, but I really like this one:

not sure if I'll be getting a swing-out or not

We can probably make that happen, shipping may be interesting

lol yeah, his was pretty banged up.

Shipping may not be a problem. One of my brothers lives in Golden and is coming this way in his pickup soon, but probably before anything gets done on your truck.

Sorry to see you were in an accident. Luckily it doesn't look like any of the suspension was touched but I remember Jerry saying when he got rear-ended it messed a lot of his stuff up but wasn't that noticeable. I would even see if you can get the rear end (axle) aligned at a shop to make sure the truck isn't dog tracking at all.

probably wouldnt hurt to drop the spare and make sure it does not have any sidewall damage

sidenote....did you get a full size spare under there?:salute:
