I'll be at the Ford stage tomorrow. They were running Focus' on the Ford Out Front track, but I didn't get out there yet. So much to see, so little time!!

Thanks! I commented on their Facebook and they gave me an email to ask em my questions. They never responded really interested in running a ceramic piston in my dirt bike. Always need mo power

There probably running the RS, which I would love to have. Just couldn't justify waiting and the extra 10k for a commuter. Maybe in a few years I'll upgrade

Someone had a ceramic coated AL head, piston, and header engine. I forget who but the idea was to run lean and hot - ceramic coating let's the AL live - and because it's so hot you can reduce emissions overall - and boost the snot out of it.

Think it was a based on a GM LS3 but would make some 440hp with 400something tq while half the emissions and some 1/3 more mpg. additive cost to the engine - 1K or so.

don't know why that doesn't catch on more than it does. been done in racing for a long time now.

The attendance to this year's show is phenomenal and honestly I don't think that's such a good thing. It used to be that the first day was pretty easy to get around and see a lot of stuff. Not this year. The show is packed wall to wall, shoulder to shoulder. It's become very difficult to even get to some vendors let alone have time to talk with them.

Did Jeep bring their concept beach cruiser car that was on Jay Leno's Garage today? It looked very cool on the show.
