Windshield Sunshade for Explorer?

I purchased the same one off amazon about 3 months ago. The fit is perfect, no need to pull down the visors. There is also huge difference in the cabin temperature now that I use this. The only thing bad I can say about it, is that it rolls up like a cigar and can be somewhat difficult to roll back up when you are inside the vehicle with the door closed. Overall I would give it a 9/10.

I use the Covercraft UV-S100. it is the only thing I will ever use. Yes it is a bit pricey buy that's what you get when you want quality.

I "pulled the trigger" on one the "price was right" at Promotive. More to follow.

Bump to ask if there are any newer better alternatives, or are the ones listed in this thread still the best sun shade options.

Honestly, I only use this type of sunshade (photo for demo only as I get mine at Costco) with no print on them.
They work great, reduce the dash/seat temps greatly (along with extending their lives)

I have the covercraft one, does the job quite well and feels sturdy.

Thanks! Went and ordered the WeatherTech TechShade and sprung for the whole vehicle kit which is a custom cut shade for all six windows.

Got my TechShades whole vehicle kit in today! Very pleased, high quality...these will last. The cabin was pitch black when I applied the 8 shades to all the windows. This will be great for road trips to darken the cabin so the peeps can sleep. And for those days at the beach for privacy in the car.

The side window pieces are so precision cut that they stay in place by themselves...you don't need a window visor to hold them in place.

Here are few pics.

Looks good. Having a white coloured vehicle also helps.
