I never checked that. They don't rub anywhere and the change I made with Forscan seems to have worked on the speedo so I'll roll with it for now. If I see problems I'll make a change.

I know a guy that exceeded the 3% rule and a week later he got t-boned at an intersection and died.

Another guy I know violated the 3% rule and about 30 years later, he got cancer and eventually died about 10 years after that.

One guy I used to know ignored the 3% rule and his car got impounded. I think he was pulled over for DUI and also had drugs in the car, but we all told him it was because of his tire choices.

Well there ya go. A good reason to not disregard that rule. I knew there had to be a reason behind it.
