Hi/lo Light Blinks

Have a 2001 4 x 4 XLT. Last couple of days both the 4WD High and Low lights have started to blink at start up and during driving. Anybody have any experience with this one?

Before I did anything, I would disconnect the neg. on the battery, let it sit for a hour or two and hook it up and let it idle for a few minutes and see if they are still blinking. That is the general warning for something wierd in your transfer case. By disconnecting the batt. you will essentially reset the computer, and maybe it was just a glitch.
