Let me start off by stating that the only place I've gotten fuel for months now is the Amoco I pass on my commute.

had a misfire + low fuel pressure issue, as well as injectors buggering out
replacing injectors as they went out and replaced fuel filter, all was well... for a bit.
Then it got bad again. Hesitation, no power, misfire, etc.
Pulled the filter, but this time I shook it then blew it out backwards to see what was in it
Mind you this had less than 1k miles on this filter
What you see in the jar is exactly what came out of that new(ish) filter.

dropped the tank, and saw a load of silt all in it, as well as a nasty fuel sock

Learn from my mistakes fellas, only use gas from stations that stay busy!

Did you piss off anyone lately?

Looks like someone with a water bottle and a agenda

Lol, funny you mention that, last time I had something like this happen, I installed a locking fuel cap.

Sidenote: you think all that dirt (or water) harmed the fuel pump?

Alrighty then, ill just fire it up with it connected before I re-install and make sure I have proper fuel pressure.

Just leaving this here for the next person who comes down the line doing this repair...
Fuel pump was bad, luckily I had one sitting on the shelf ready to go. Took 10 cycles of the key to get 10psi out of the last one, one flip of the key on the new pump resulted in a full 40psi of pressure, much to my delight.
Cleaned out the tank with water, air dry, wipe to get the last few grains of dirt out.
Blew out lines with compressed air, new fuel filter.

Need to get the injectors cleaned and flow matched by the local shop, I might even have to, dare I say, go to the stealership to get er done.
After that, she should run minty.
Thanks for the help!

Aight, nobody around here does injector flushes and flow testing. Not even the dealership.
All they can do is "additives."
Well, unless your additives can melt rock, I'm not interested.

Anybody have any luck with ebay injector sets? An entire set there for the cost of one locally seems suspicious...

Can't speak to Amoco gas quality but I imagine it really depends on the station and their equipment. Old fuel coming out of an ancient tank with no filter, who knows.

I can say that I have had awful luck with premium gas with and without ethanol from Maverick gas stations. That stuff is absolute trash. My daily driver Ranger runs awful every time I've filled up there. Spits and sputters and has a noticeable lack of power. Tried running it in my 2 stroke lawn equipment and same thing...they don't run right. Gas from literally anywhere else is just fine.

They look different, but say they're for the right engine. Why do they look different than the ones im running right now?

Updated design, different spray pattern out of the nozzle. The yellow ones have 4 holes for a finer spray pattern.
