Has anyone installed one of these, or one similar into their EX?

Mine is a 3.5L NA.

I don't believe so. I did a Search on the name and your post is the only one that came up. I doubt it can be installed on an Explorer as is. Have you contacted them to see if they have a similar unit for the Explorer? There were a few threads that came up searching "oil cooler".

Or you can just install the PIU auxiliary transmission cooler...it's a bit less expensive, completely bolt up and was designed for the vehicle specifically...
