Question #1 I have a 94 Explorer 4LD Automatic my dad changed the transmission filter and the oil 2 years ago but i discovered now he didin't put mercon v oil but instead he put 5 liters of Repsol ATF i wana flush the tranny now but as i can understaind the transmission pan only holds half the oil capacity is there a method to drain it completly.

Question #2 when i engage 4x4 the front axels spin but the wheels don't as i can understaind the problem is related to the automatic hubs my dad told me that a metal spring flew off on one of them when he was replacing the wheel bearing a year ago but they didin't work even before that so is there a way to rebuild them becouse i don't wana go to manual ones and i can't find new auto hubs iv been searcing for the past 2 years

Here are some images of the beast

You would have to drain and refill more than once to get the fluid out of the torque converter. You need to drive the vehicle after the first change to move the fluid in the converter through the system.

The auto hubs have always been junk. They are commonly replaced with Warm or Milemarker manual hubs.

Nice looking Explorer:chug:
