I am currently having an issue with my central control lights (radio and climate controls) permanently staying on when not in vehicle. If I dont drive for a couple days it kills the battery. All the controls work except for the radio controls, I am able to set date and time but that’s all I can do on display when vehicle is turned on. Any ideas would be appreciated. Welcome to the Forum.
The Battery Saver Program is supposed to turn off any lights that are left on except for the parking lights. It seems that is also not working in this case. Unless someone comes up with another idea, you could try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 10 minutes or so before reconnecting it. That may or may not work. Keep in mind that you will likely lose some saved memory settings by doing that.

Peter, thank you for your response. Unfortunately this did not solve my problem. The weird this is that the backlights are off when I turn the car off but after locking, when the dash lights and radio turn off is when those backlights turn back on. Checked fuse and was fine. Not sure if would be related to the radio or not. The menu and clock buttons are the only buttons that work on top, all buttons below display work.

Sorry that didn't work. I've not come across a similar issue in the forum so there isn't anything to fall back for info. I don't know if an APIM could cause that or not. APIM issues usually affect the screen, such as being 'Blank'.
A dealer visit may be needed.

Peter
