My car at 60k miles had a coolant leak and it was initially missed by the dealer, the engine was taken out and the pump was changed. at 100K miles now I'm noticing my coolant level has slightly dropped. (from a little above the min line to a bit below)

I looked in my engine bay and I noticed this this dirty looking area below the alternator. I'm nervous I might have another leak which seems insane in such a short time!

That's crazy- If it is orange coolant. Better keep an eye on it. Or add leak dye.

Thank you I will add dye, it's the pink coolant I think.
Is the coolant level in the tank dropping? Usually, if coolant is entering the engine, the oil on the dipstick resembles a 'milky' colour.
The proper coolant colour is now yellow.

The level has dropped a bit over a few months, I don't think it's entering the engine though, and even if it was it's such a small amount

Did a pressure test to 15 PSI, it dropped to 14 after about 30 mins. I think the level may have gone down slowly but the temperature has has dropped.
I got under the car and took some photos, does this look like an oil or coolant leak?

Looks like oil-- But, that us where my 3.5L waterpump weep hole leaked anti-freeze out too.

It''s difficult to tell for sure just by looking at it.

Taste it!

The best way to get eyes on the weep hole under the alternator for confirmation is with the use of a bore scope/inspection camera. If the area around and in weep hole is wet, and dry above welcome to the club. As the leak progresses it starts dripping down the oil pan and off the A/C compressor.

If the pressure test was done with engine hot a 30 minute test is not valid due to the expansion factor of coolant when hot. As it cools the coolant contracts dropping the pressure in the process. My 3.5L pressure checks passed both hot and cold tests and would only leak coolant out the hole when engine was running.

Thanks Flintrock! My car loses the tiniest bit over like 1k miles of driving, the pressure tests were run after the car was sitting for a few days, though after about an hour it dropped to 14PSI (from 15)
