If you haven't do so yet try replacing the three relays in the engine compartment. I had a similar problem and since I have replaced them it starts fine everytime now. Good luck.

There should be a flap above the headlight you will be able to see it with the hood raised. Then there should be a couple of screws on the top and bottom of the parking light housing. Remove those and the housing slides out and then you can replace the bulb. Good luck

I just had the same problem. Replaced the relays under the hood and the problem went away. Since they were only $10 each I went ahead and replaced all three. Good luck

I have been able to remove the front bolt for the control arm but the one closest to the cab is giving me trouble. Any pointers on how you removed yours? Mine is hitting the cup for the shock on one side and a small black pipe on the other side. My ex is a 2wd 5.0 if it matters.

I was going to do a dual exhaust on the ex but after reading this I have decided to stick with a single exhaust. I am going to use the cherry bomb turbo muffler and leave the exit for the exhaust in the stock location.

my 96 has a similar problem. when it is running there is a humming/whining noise. Although I know mine is coming from under the hood and I am pretty sure it is either the alternator or the tensioner. Now all I have to do is get the money to replace both. Good luck with it.
