Rear bushing check youtube for a dorman part for explorer or taurus. Not sure if its upper or lower. Not sure if it's as solid as the expensive ford arm. Probably wont last long as its Dorman.
I can't recall if upper or lower bushing just check youtube for Explorer or Taurus rear bushing. There is a bushing that can be replaced vs whole arm. Dorman part I believe.
Have them look at it. A good independent mechanic will stand by their work. Motorcraft parts include a labor warranty and do pay for damage caused to other parts.
You'd likely get water as well. Had a bad windshield seal in my 2006 Freestyle. Water came in at the carwash.
Still would come in through the ac vents...
Then how is it the windshield? Ac etc comes from that area. It doesn't make sense. This is an intermittent issue from what I've heard. Its premature to say that whatever was fixed on your trim solved it.
Cost?
How much for better warranty?
It's not a guarantee it will fail for you. Other things will likely need to be replaced (ie maintenance parts like struts maybe).
I have coolant disappear and reappear temperature being equal..... It has to be pressure variances. Two years have passed and a pressure test later all I can do is watch it. Zero issues in oil or leaks.
Water pump might fail at 100k or might not fail in the useful life of the vehicle. Something else might doit it first, who knows. I have 150k on a non turbo. No issues with water pump.
Change fluids and oil as required in manual.
Sorry. Are you missing the engine support rod? Assume yes after reading again. That's not technically a mount in the traditional sense. Idk about that one if that is what you are missing....maybe engine specific.
I'd check the fine print on diag fees in the contract. To Peter's point 3rd warranty have a bad rap. Dealer should have do a battery inspection and look over for free at least to start. 200 an hour is nuts. Never would pay that.
The computer flash was supposed to make the steering be drivable in a safe fashion, not lockup or be too hard. Mine failed and it still drove fine. Are you saying after the update it still failed and didn't have the fail safe mode working?
