    Stic-o's 2019 Ranger XLT FX4

Seeing a few of these in the wild now I would think it would look better with a lift in the front to level it out. Can't wait to get one in 15 years to build into a trail rig....

Completed Project Kirby's 1991 Ranger Build Up

Their article did the 3.0 gears into a 4.0 case. But they also listed the gears from an f150 trans as well. Do the f150 gears work in a ranger case? Then you get a 4 something first gear.....

I have the superior axle c clip eliminator kit in my ranger. Think it is the same as the Yukon kit. I bought it installed in the axle already.

    Bkennedy's SAS and Rebuild Thread

I bought used Alcan springs I am installing on Tracy's Jeep. They are a well respected company. I have a friend running them on his Commando and likes them.

410Fortune 1988 Ford Bronco II Eddie Bauer 4x4

Glad to see the BII getting some updates. One more thing to add to the Dash/ Doors interchange on the Rangers is 93-94 doors are different then the 95-97 doors. They have different part numbers. My understanding is it externally they are the same. Just the way the interior panels attach is...

I can work with that. We will be down that way around Easter. Hope to be able to stop by and see you guys and get the doors out of your yard.

Pretty much the same as I dropped both ends of the springs the same amount.

    RockRangerII Refresh

But after wheeling in the snow I have finally had enough of the axle wrap I am getting so I am working on solving that. I started by deciding to remove the factory block on the rear suspension. However I didn't want to lose the height as the truck sits level. So I built drop frame spring...

    RockRangerII Refresh

So the ranger hasn't been getting any changes as of lately. Most of my free time has been going into Tracy's Jeep. I did take it up to the snow one day. I was with my father in law in his blazer so I didn't push it far. the 3 feet of snow was enough. 20190211_100920 by Matthew Dresselhaus...

It was great to see you again and finally meet Sheri. Also was nice to see the grown up Josh. I hope I can make it back down there again.

    Adventure trailer build thread.

Finally caught up with this thread. Wish I would have seen the thread before I checked out the trailer in person. A few things I saw in the pictures I missed in person and was cool seeing the fab side and how it looks now. Can't wait to see it on the trail.

    Bkennedy's SAS and Rebuild Thread

Looks good Brian. I have been running the plates on the bottom of my 8.8 the last 4 years or so. I have liked it. It helps slide over rocks that you would otherwise get hooked on. I will still hang a diff up every once in a while but not as much as before.

    RockRangerII Refresh

If you can make it out to California and the Rubicon I will do everything in my power to be able to make that trip. I think 3 to 4 days on the trail would be best. My last Rubicon trip was 2005 I think. Also have another quick run coming up with a friend. Going to try and do Swamp Lake...

    RockRangerII Refresh

Pretty much what Rick said. The race radios use frequencies that they really shouldn't be using. No comment on Rugged Radios but I won't buy from them. If you want more info you can stop by Ham Radio Outlet. They are just off 163 and Balboa I believe. You can also check out...

    RockRangerII Refresh

We use Ham almost exclusively on the trail now with the guys I wheel with. Another example was on our way thru the trail we spread out by about 10 minutes so we weren't eating dust the whole time. But we could talk with each other the entire time. I should have listened to @Rick years ago and...

    RockRangerII Refresh

Dusy was fast. We got to the trail head Monday at 7:30 am. At the trail head we found a guy from Poway broke. He broke a rear axle and rear locker Friday about 7 miles in by himself. He spent two days winching and stacking rocks to get out. He was out of water and basically immobile. We used...

    July 2018 Sierra fun..

Down by Fresno you could do Bald Mountain loop. Brewer lake is perfect for stock rigs the last 100 yards or so to the lake can be a bit much but it is a short walk. You could also go to West lake and Strawberry lake. We have taken Stock JKs to Red lake but it does take some rock stacking and...

1998 and up weld together winch bumper.

I built this bumper for the newer rangers and figured a few of you might want to see it. This bumper bolts to the factory bumper mounts. I start with a tape measure paper pencil and bunch of head scratching. Then I transfer it all to the computer into a cad program and eventually cut it my...
