First things first, like ts said it could be an issue with the hinges. Doors very rarely go out of alignment without reason, although it has happened. I would suggest not removing the striker but opening the door and lifting up on the very end, there should be next to zero if not zero play...

its not necessary as long as the bare metal looks clean. A little scuff pad action and blow it all clean.

Remove all the old crap. Use a scraper, chisel, a screwdriver, whatever. Make sure it is real clean. Use masking tape for clean edges where you don't want the seam sealer. Gob in a bunch of this stuff...

That thing is hammered. If it came in my shop I would replace it no question. There is a TON of metal stretch, repairing it would be quite daunting. If time is money, your better investment is replacement.

Most cars will have paint codes with some variant shades sometimes as many as 15 or more. For a more exact match a paint card would be necessary.

Dealership and or any given bodyshop can get ya some touch up. You cant make it go away, the best you can do is hide it somewhat. Just get a small paint brush from a crafts store and FILL the scratch with the touch up.
