Disregard what I asked. I realized everyone was replacing the EXs leaf with F150s where as I will be adding leafs to the pack. Thanks though.

For those that have done this modification: How much lower are your spring plates and shock mounts to the ground?

Went to the local stereo shop and got an inline Maxi blade fuse holder. The wire on it says 8 Gauge but the guys said it's actually 10 gauge :confused: Anyway, they said there would be no problem with using that fuse. But I couldn't get a word in edge wise cause I guess my knowledge wasn't on...

I've owned Memphis, MTX and Kenwood subs. They all hit great in the respective order. They all were 12" though. The infinity speakers that are in my EX right now are truly amazing so I don't doubt they make a great sub too. Whatever you choose it will be better than the stocker!

Good luck with your setup. Post up pictures when you're done. I however am finally getting around to removing mine and putting in one of those little storage bins. My stock sub quit when I put my system in.

I'm outlining my cargo trailer with LEDs and I plan to run an 8 gauge wire from the battery the entire way to the rear of the trailer. (with a quick connect at the tongue) My question is, would I be okay using an inline fuse that uses 10 gauge wire and a blade fuse? I can't find an inline...

Yes, 3.73 open diff with stock tire size. My rack is a Surco safari with 5 6" Hellas up front so it causes alot of drag.

Found a 100% petrol station here in Charleston and filled up today. I called ahead and the lady said it was 3.69, only to get there and see it was 4.19! I filled it up anyway, $76.00 total. I'm excited to see the mpg's because I disconnected the ac compressor and took the roof rack off last night.

Starting from the front to the back, all the stock body mount bolts are 3 3/4" long EXCEPT the very last body mount bolt is 5 1/2" long. All bolts are 1/2" 9.8grade. Just add the body lift puck amount to these in order to get the bolt length you need.

Ya it was an experience getting them all with no jack. I removed all mount bolts then used the jack handle (which I oddly brought with me into the yard) to lift the body off the frame, then I stood a junk wheel up and rested the handle on the wheel. Ran around like a chicken with my head cut off...

I got 8/10 mounts off a '97 4 door. They are all in great shape. I even had fun getting them off (the JY wouldn't let me bring a jack OR torch in with me so I had to improvise). 3/8 mounts spun while I was trying to loosen them, so I used the strap wrench pictured. I left the front mounts...
