    heres the new progress theres no reason why it shouldnt be running tomorrow. The hotside and new downpipe is done. Just have to tap the timing cover for another return line and hook up and cold side.

    Actually the weight isnt going to be that bad. Im willing to bet a 4.6L barely weighs a bit more than a heap of iron 4.0L. The 4.6L will fit under the oem hood as it generally sits lower than a 5.0. However the 4.6L is quite a bit wider than a 5.0. The problem areas on the early generation is...

    Bigger camms just move the power band up higher usually and if its a mild cam the gains will be so small its not worth the money.     Yes im waiting on the future when someday I can afford a wideband 02 and at least a FMU so I can bring the boost up to around 10-12. Heres a small thing I am also adding to the revised intake setup. Im building an airbox for the cone filter to pull air from the cowl area.

    with what you want (torque and a little more hp) i would say M90 blower, headers and exhaust...that way your truck woulnt be down for long. A turbo kit would be a step better but the cost can be higher and your truck would be down for a while while a custom kit would have to be built.
