yup i did that too... but i did not remove the filter box.. instead i just threw in a k&n... results are actually good

im workin on a sound clip lol never posted one before...

the sound in the cab is minimal you can hear the slight bass rumble but volume wise its mild so i can drive to church w/o botherin any one LOL... ill get a clip posted once i find out how to use the digital recorder

yup and it sounds amazing... exactly as i wanted... mild volume and i feel a nice gain in power so far i made an intake and now installed an cat back next on the list (after i save up of course) would be -tune -tint front windows & paint grill black -tires -roadbully lift kit

i wouldnt mind as much most my driving is highway... if u were in nj i woulda asked if u wanted to trade gears lol

ok i got 3.73s on my x and i hate it... i dont even put 3.73s on my mustang why the hell would i want them on my truck??!!!!! any ways i do alot of highway drivin and id rather have 3.27s or 3.55s and im wonderin if any one here ever swapped ther gears how much work is it... is ther a speedo...

ok i got an 05 xlt and my radio gets louder as i accelerate then volume drops when i slow down... how do i make it stop that??

actually i made an intake and i def. feel a difference... i will post pics this weekend but all i did is get the k&n filter and i took the stock tube and deleted the resevoirs or scilencers... what ever ther called... now the motor does sound nice and loud and i do feel i very small gain its...

how about removing the small plastic air boxes off the stock intake tube, plug up those holes and getting a high flow air filter....? thats gotta be a good cost effective route to take

ok i notice today after a long drive... when i hit a bump slowly i hear a low squeaking noise then i parked and put some pressure on the 2 front corners (just pushed down) i hear a low rubber on rubber squeak on the way down... is it bad shocks.. bushings any ideas or ever experience this...

ya true but im sure u can make some kinda heat shield.. after all you will be removing the whole box assembly so thers gotta be some room

i just want some minor bolt ons to get a lil more power out of my truck only planning to get intake exhaust and tune... hopefully ill get some better gas milage too... but mainly want it a lil quicker

my friend had his silver 04 on 22" chrome and lowered... it actually looked pretty good and im not even into the whole flashy thing too... ill see if i got a pic saved or watever
