In this pic you can tell that the weld "penetrated" both pieces of metal that are welded together. On yours it looks like the weld just built up on top of the metal. Like Midnight said, it looks like it needs to be hotter to get the penetration or fusion of the two pieces.

It's something they did in the back. it's either u-joints, somehow they knocked the drive shaft out of whack, or the driveshaft is mounted 180° from how it's supposed to be. I'll be calling the dude at about 3:30 to let him know.
