Truckhaven Oct. 21st -23rd 20th Anniversary Run Part 2
I'm glad I didn't take that way home. Horrible to hear about that accident, too. There was a little traffic on my route, but it only took, 3 hours to get home. Awesome trip as usual and I'm glad I was able to make it. I'll get my pictures up soon and I'm looking forward to getting back out...- FROADER

Truckhaven Oct. 21st -23rd 20th Anniversary Run Part 2
Bummer, Dave! It looks like I'm not bringing that YXZ after all. Someone at the office rolled it last weekend and totaled it. I'll be bringing a Wolverine instead. It's really more suited for the area, but I was looking forward to driving the YXZ. Getting excited to be out there.- FROADER

Spare Tire Carrier
Does it not fit in the cargo area like you had it, or are you wanting to use that for something else now? Jeff has my favorite one disguising it with the stock rear bumper. Jefe's Build- FROADER

Don't consider my post as an entry. I just like to go through old photos and see if I can find something that will work for the contests. Brian cruising in the mountains of Truckhaven. Me on Lion's Back UT in 2000:- FROADER

Yes, just the front, so my rig sits level now. The rear fits my tire size no problem at stock height.- FROADER

BTF Fabrication Explorer Lift Coil Spacer discussions
Everything is good so far after 20k+ miles since install. I didn't get new parts when I installed them either so, no ill effects at all. I got a little more than 1.5" of lift. Here is the before and after from my thread...- FROADER

Yes, you will have to cut the strut bolts with the 1.25" spacers. That's what I have on mine.- FROADER

Of course they will help, but no, you don't need the UCAs with a 1.5" spacer.- FROADER

First Gen Ex 2WD front suspension ?
The 2WD passenger side beam mount is different (if that's what you were talking about being different), and the radius arms are different as well. They don't mount to the beams the same from 2WD to 4WD.- FROADER

First Gen Ex 2WD front suspension ?
The beams are not equal lengths. Not sure what you mean by the only difference is the passenger side. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think it's a straight swap. I know the cross members are different from 2WD to 4WD. What's the reason you want your 4WD to be 2WD?- FROADER

Tires/Off Roading... HELP!
Like RangerX said, your 4.10s are great for the tire size you want. I have the same tire size (which is actually more like a 32" not 31") and my stock gears are 3.55s. I would like to regear since it's a bit of a pig now, but it works. I don't think I'm going to have it too much longer, anyway...- FROADER

Has anyone upgraded their non-tow package hitch?
I asked a few hitch places if they would fab something for me that removes the 1 1/4" and replace it with the 2" and they all said no due to liability. Unless you have a fab shop make you something (cut out the 1 1/4"), unfortunately you'll have to get the factory 2" under the 1 1/4...- FROADER
