Tires
you can get the kyb gas-adjust and gr2 gas shocks at advance auto. you can also get the monroe reflex truck shock which is pretty much the same thing as the rancho rs5000 series (same parent company) for around 40-45 dollars. too bad you guys are so spread out, i give discounts.- Four0Sport

thinking of rear discs..
I was at a friends house this weekend watching him put a turbo on his 3.8 mustang and saw he had his rear diff out with all the brake hardware off as well. He told me he was upgrading his breaks and immediately i asked what he was doing with his old backing plates and calipers. Theyre in the...- Four0Sport

Lift questions
eh im trying to stay away from a body lift.. really dont like them at all. i guess i wont go as big as i wanted, i think the truck will look stout with shackles, AAL, front coils and some 31s or 32s. or i might opt out for shackles and 4 door leafs and then just coils in the front. i dont...- Four0Sport

Lift questions
cant fit 1.5 spacers and 1.5 leveling coils without radius arm drop brackets? that sucks. that ruined my entire next couple months. lol i was gonna use my income tax check to buy a subaru impreza to drive to work and back, now i might have to buy drop brackets.- Four0Sport

Alternator issues
14.5 is an ideal voltage read out while the vehicle is running.. right? thats what ive been beleiving anyway. ive come across quite a few ford alternators that overcharge and sometimes it was a regulator problem, but not necessarily the regulator itself. the plug-in on the back of the regulator...- Four0Sport

III or V; the Mercon debate
back up a little bit.. III or V; the Mercon debate
I was looking into doing a pan drop and fliter change on my 97 5.0L but cant figure out what fluid came in my vehicle factory. engaging 4x4
if your fuses and motor are checking out ok it is also common for the switch on the dash to get hot and burn up, which is an easy replacement once you find one, commonly found at a salvage yard. also check the wire plug in that plugs into the back of the switch on the dash, people have come in...- Four0Sport

4wd light flashing
My sisters 96 4wd has the 'auto 4wd' feature on the dash. i personally have never driven an explorer with this kind of 4wd, i went from my 93 straight to awd on my 97. i did however, when we first purchased the truck, turn it to 4wd auto and pulled a couple small hills around my house to make...- Four0Sport

what rear end to ask for
I was debating doing a rear disc swap on my 93 sport by getting a used rear differential from a 2nd gen. intermittent wiper problem
i dont beleive it is the switch that is causing this.. every function on the switch works, its just the wipers themselves that get stuck in the middle of a wipe, i was leaning more towards the motor or something that controls the delay feature of the wipers. thanks for the info though.- Four0Sport
