I'm going to pick up a nice set of used tires tomorrow for $150. After that it needs an alignment and a smog test here in Nevada and it will get license plates. Much closer to the end. Working on putting the interior together right now.

Yeah, and considering the late start to the production of the model year I'm sure they are trying to move quickly. I'd bet they are busy down there at that plant.

My window sticker didn't work just now on the tracker tool. But I've had the tracker tool stop working several times in the last week.

Seems like the factory is ramping up the speed!

The tracker tool updated my order. It now shows in production date of 1-22-22 and estimated delivery of 2-23-22.

Interesting. Mine didn't. Considering that your in MN and they are built in Chicago, delivery time shouldn't be too long for you.

Does the tracker actually give you an estimated delivery date?

For what it is worth. My original build date was the week of Feb 28th. Then three weeks after they stated that the date was moved up to the week of January 17th. Maybe you'll get moved up. Hang in there!

Ford tracker tool is working again this morning.

Figures...one day before the estimated finish date for our new EX and the Ford vehicle order tracker tool is down. Anyone else having this issue?

Living in Las Vegas these old tires are really dry too. I figure you are correct that we can smoke them up.

Well…. Considering that i have different wheels to mount the new tires on when i get them. Maybe i can make a little burn out video. And this truck does have Traction Loc and 3.73 gears. I bet we can make some smoke.

The good news is that even after the initial drive there are no fluid leaks. Which is good.

I'll keep an eye on the alternator for now. Main thing currently is to get tires on it and an alignment.

Even if I get stuck replacing the alternator, after everything I've done. That is childs play...

I took the EX for a few laps inside my neighborhood today. First time I drove it ever. Engine is smooth, has good power. Trans shifts up and down all 4 gears in a decent fashion. Needs a wheel alignment and tires badly.

I think it's the camera angle. I just went out there with the voltmeter and it's putting out 13.89V at idle.

Just standard 194s. Could be my phones camera, they look pretty normal to me in person.

Now that you say it, i get it better. Id say its 2022 01 21

A seller on ebay. The quality of the part was decent, but not factory quality. Note that it doesn't come with the Ford emblem. I bought that separately.

How do you determine from the window sticker that you are 556/1152?

Mine is the same as yours currently. But my window sticker comes up.

Today I did a little bit of work. I got most of the bolts into the center console. Currently I'm trying to reduce the stock pile of parts. The more I install, the less there is to work with. Getting closer.

The gear is ordered. Be here in a couple days. $8 can't go wrong. Considering I've not actually driven this Explorer, I don't even know if the speedo works. So this makes good sense. Thanks for the tip!

Is that one gear all that is usually needed?

Yesterday was the first time i turned on the lights. I realized that i need to replace the bulbs in the cluster. There are a couple burned out. Just going to replace them all.
