Two questions for anyone reading. 1) Anyone have pictures of the stock plug wire routing? 2) Anyone have pictures of the stock routing of the vacuum lines that come off the vacuum globe/ball in the passenger fenderwell?- SuperGordo

I feel pretty good about the progress today. Trying to be smart about the reassembly. Trying to make sure we get all the details along the way so I don't get stuck having to deal with something later that would be easy now. Tomorrow we will rout the plug wires as nice as we can. Then the AC box...- SuperGordo

Throttle body installed. Also replaced the pigtail for the cam sensor. The original one was wasted. Heater hoses are replaced. Won't connect those to the core until the AC box is back in.- SuperGordo

Ordered a 2022 ST
Well I'm a sky scraping 5'7" haha!! As for the Tune, I'd love to do that but since my wife will be the primary driver and she has a real knack for "remodeling" and "customizing" vehicles(if you all know what I mean). Then the stock 400hp will be more than enough.....- SuperGordo

Awesome! Great to know! Thanks for the info! My wife likes the roof rails. She says she likes how they make the car look. I would have skipped them. However it's for her, so whatever. When I get my chance to drive it and put the throttle down, I won't care about the rails!- SuperGordo

Ordered a 2022 ST
My wife ordered the roof rails, but not the racks. Didn't do the stop start delete. didn't know that was a thing until after we ordered it. We also went with the high performance brake package, floor mats, the TV screens. I didn't want those, but happy wife happy life right??? She also chose the...- SuperGordo

Ordered a 2022 ST
Fair question. I'm friends with the sales manager at one of my local dealers. He usually knocks the cars to invoice for me and I just come pick them up. He just tells me when to come sign. No haggling, no waiting at the dealer. All that said, the car is priced at about 63k the way my wife...- SuperGordo

No pics from today. However I pressure washed the junkyard Ford floor mats, the wheels, battery tray and the under cover that goes under the radiator and condenser. Floor mats were really dirty. They look pretty good now.- SuperGordo

Well here in Las Vegas most of them are total crap. So hopefully someone in a milder climate might have access to some that are nicer. In Vegas nothing rusts, but the sun and heat kills paint and interior.- SuperGordo

Ordered a 2022 ST
Just want to jump in and say hello. My wife and I ordered an ST to her exacting specs on 11-5-21. Received our confirmation on 11-6-21. She pretty much ordered every option. She got the bench seat in the 2nd row. Even the darn head rest TVs. The High performance brakes. Technology package. And...- SuperGordo

1998 Explorer door panel armrest pads?? Wanted..
I live in the desert of Las Vegas Nevada. The cars don't rust here but the heat kills paint and interiors. Any of your Explorer lovers in the milder climates have or can find the arm rest pads for the door panels for a 1998 Explorer with the light grey interior? If you have something or can grab...- SuperGordo

Something else I just thought about. My Ex had a fuse blown that powered the oxygen sensor heater circuit. Ran like crap, replaced the fuse and it was much better. I don't know the exact fuse number at this moment. It was in the interior fuse panel.- SuperGordo

Have you Checked for vacuum leaks under and around the plenum? I recently purchased a 5.0 EX and have also been working on it extensively. Once I get the engine running again I'll have to plan to reinstall the door panels, the seats and finish installing the interior. Nothing really terrible left to do inside.
