Thanks guys I was clear for a little while, but it's persistent. Thanks Steve. I'll do what I can to kick it's butt Not the news anyone was hoping for I'll have to look into the RSO stuff. Haven't heard of it. Good to hear people have had good results with it. Thanks. Rangers are ok...- R.J.

RJ's B2 Build
Been a while since I've posted. Nothing new on the rig. It's been out on the trails here and there this year. It's still running and driving good. Been riding bikes a lot, so that's been my main hobby instead of the bronco. I know when people go MIA for a while you might wonder if they fell out...- R.J.

It was fun. Glad everyone was able to drive home without a tow truck. Mountaineer was doing awesome. Bronco did well but it needs some TLC- R.J.

Well I guess messing with my power steering hoses disrupted all the crud and gunk that was keeping them sealed. Cause the next day after my steering gear install there was p/s fluid under my car. So I replaced the hoses today. Should be nice and leak free now.- R.J.

RJ's B2 Build
Finally finally finally replaced my steering gear. Its been bad ever since truckhaven in November and gradually getting worse since then. I went with a box from redhead steering gears, it's supposed to be a better built box with some machining and bearing changes that get rid of the Ford slop...- R.J.

This should make packing camp a little better... Picked up an off road camping utility trailer. Still need to wire trailer lights to from my car and buy a rooftop tent for it. But I couldn't pass it up for the price. @mounty71 whens Pismo?- R.J.

It was cold. Very cold. In the 20's at night. The cot worked out pretty good. It made tearing down camp quick and easy and I didn't have a tent being blown away by the wind. Haven't thought about TDS. I really should get that steering box replaced before any more trips.- R.J.

Haha I've done that. I saw a guy with an old Jeep Wrangler do this with a cot, so I gave it a try with my B2. But the Wrangler had to remove his front seat.- R.J.

I'll be out in Johnson valley at the king of the hammers race for a few days. And since I won't really be doing any trails and no passengers this time, I'm trying out a quick and easy sleeping arrangement in the Bronco II. Looks like it is possible to sleep in a Bronco II- R.J.

Yeah I'm guessing it was the water. We passed through a lot of puddles. So far it's back to working normal again. Which it did the rest of the trip too. I'll see if anything goofy happens going out to King of the Hammers tomorrow :burnout:- R.J.

I was in the mountains, in the snow when this happened. I stopped and checked the car out before it got to this point. Not sure exactly what was happening with the guage, but it was lying. Engine had no signs of overheating, upper and lower hoses were warm, both the same temps, even the manifold...- R.J.

Santa's List for Offroad Projects??
If I could purchase whatever, I would start over. I would want to build a class 4600 ultra4 rig. Probably a single cab ranger 4.0 5spd. Or a full size 78-79 Bronco.- R.J.

The bracket also runs under the frame and there's two bolts under there. It bent up the whole horn piece and the frame. I've never been a fan of the one bolt, but never sure what to do with it without welding on more material.- R.J.

Had a little fender bender with the bronco :( Bent the front bumper pretty good. Hard to see in the pics but it's pushed up and in pretty good. Even buckled the frame a little. It's pushed all the way that it's touching my headlight on the drivers side. Guess the bumper wasn't as tough as I...- R.J.
