The one in the rado is just an Hai too, but it looks good so i don't care, may double stack filters lmao

That's an idea, wanted to see about doing the radiator, adding a separate tranny cooler, new condenser and such. So maybe I'll try an e fan? Know I found an, I believe, aluminum radiator that I liked!

Interesting, I mean the K&N I think came with a box, though I'm not sure how well it works. Rather not kill myself trying to make one like I've seen done at least once before, but will if needed.

Look forward to this answer, now I want to see what I can get

Think that and the spacer would be a nice combo? The spacer alone helped the rado some, not a lot, but noticeable low end.

    Interesting...keep that in mind..!

There's a performance throttle body? I found a possible spacer for it I was thinking of adding like I did for the rado, but thats all I saw

What for exhaust? Just the headers? Think my super 10 and a resonator may do anything for it? Know there ain't much to do sadly, so doing what I can till I can get the mazda going. The k&n intake I've already got waiting to go on after the rebuild

And finally, she's in the driveway! Family sold one of the other trucks, made room, and now it's time for work! Dang was she a pain to move from sitting for 2 years, then up a steeper driveway was fun. But time to start making progress!

Could always still do something small, can try again once we get closer to the end of the year too. I'm sure you'll get a few more interested eventually, still a good ways out!

Yeah, going to be using that guy for reference once I get to that point, definitely detailed a good few things I'll need! That's a great idea actually, my boss follows a few auctions around, have to get some info on them from him and see what I can find! That's also partially why, less to deal...

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

No joke, watched a video the other day on a kubota 722 (think is was a 722 or something like that) swapped Saturn car, sucker at ideal conditions and upgrades, was up to 80mpg....even 30 would be awesome to me, and that thing setup like that could be making like 60mpg then! Would love that so much

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

Exactly the thought! Only trouble is finding one that's good, for cheap, then upgrading it to a turbo and such, and making a trans adapter for a 5 or 6 speed tranny of some kind. Want to keep the manual if I can, if I need/want an automatic to drive, I'll have the X, or the rado lmao
  15. DemonMudder

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

Or the dang kubota swap, almost prefer that for the fun/mileage, as annoying as a swap as it would be lol

I can do that before the pan I guess, if it and the teeth are fine, guess I'm pulling the pan. Getting real tired of this thing

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

Alright, yalls best guess now, had my girlfriend tag along today, we strapped it to the rado and dragged it around, keep in mind, clutch pedal still does jack squat till I decide to buy and replace the slave and master cylinder. So apparently in first gear, or any gear for that matter, the rear...

And let the decor begin! Chains and hooks over the bed, chains under the doors, hooks and hand hanging from the rear, ram skull over the license plate, jelly and Jimmy (the two skeletons) now holding a snake, windshield wiper arm, mirror hook and chain, mirror lizard, the usual skull and hands...

    Jade Pearl Update/Build Log

Threw some extra running lights on the rear end, not bright really at all, kinda saddening honestly, but I'm happy with it, don't care to change it either, they're just to make me more visible so, they do their job. Got like 8 more to use somewhere, thinking two more in the front bumper, maybe...

Well dang, least the rigs still drive! Glad at least ya didn't end up there alone. Yeah, hope that f150 wasn't too bad like ya said. Glad it was a great trip though! Hopefully I'll have the chance next year with either of my rigs!

    Uwharrie 2024

Damn, sorry to hear no one showed, that's disappointing. Glad to hear it was still an interesting trip! Some fun pictures all the same too! Dang that poor f150 though..

    Jade Pearl Update/Build Log

Alrighty, new lil' side project, got some like 3-4" marker lights to throw on the rigs, compared to the lil' ones I put in the grille of the explorer way back, dimmer than the lil' ones but still not bad. Want to throw two on the hitch of this truck, maybe two in the front bumper too; that...

    -Deathrow Update Log-

Alright, one final parts list request. I want all suggestions for making it more fuel efficient and powerful, not looking to completely break the bank, but I want to do what I can to upgrade while it's all apart. Already the k&n filter as some of yall may recall, I'm doing an aluminum t-stat...

Exactly, cheap and yet do the same as these expensive canopies you can buy! Yeah, but lack of spending allows you to spend on stuff you want for the good life, so it helps in the end. Being able to save up, then go out on trips like that are what make it good. We both agreed we gotta do that...

    Jade Pearl Update/Build Log

Trying to for sure! Usually broke as crap, and/or slightly in debt, but I've learned how to have fun while being poor! I mean, my canopy setups are literally tarps and random poles I've found and/or sticks usually as prop rods for said tarps, that's my camping setup along with a blanket in the...

    Jade Pearl Update/Build Log

Well, apparently a thunderstorm rolled through this morning and only left a mud glaze, but still not bad for a 2wd without too much mud to work with. Those tires don't hold back when it comes to slinging, mud flaps did practically nothing too lol

    Jade Pearl Update/Build Log

Well, first test of the a/c, went out for a nice evening picnic and star gazing night with my girlfriend. A/C definitely doesn't blow like I wish it did and recirculate clearly doesn't work, but it still was so much nicer than just plain vent! Evening went well, we cleaned the area up...

Right now I see things being semi hectic by the time for me, but I can't tell for sure if those plans will work out and cause it to be hectic or not. So we'll see! Should have everything running and driving on my end by then! So hopefully I'll be able to!

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

I just don't know many cars that came with a kubota engine lmao But yeah, with a turbo assist I guess it may not be too bad, definitely would help with power
  39. DemonMudder

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

But am I going to be able to get that thing up to 75mph safely? Technically don't have to go that high or higher to follow speed limits generally, but when I'm on the interstate it'll be 65 yet everyone's doing at least 80, so I'd like to at least semi keep up and not hinder. Definitely would...

    Late 80s B2000 Advice

The kubota ones. Another issue I have with those is I know their rpm range tends to be kinda low, could that possibly be a problem at higher speeds?
