Fibreglass fenders and hood for first gen
Do you have a website for this glasswerx? I searched and there seem to be dozens of places called glasswerx but none of them sell body parts.- Paul Gagnon

PartSource is a division of Canadian Tire but they tend to have more stock and you will be talking to an actual partsman instead of a 12 year old kid at Canadian Tire.- Paul Gagnon

Fibreglass fenders and hood for first gen
Where are you guys with first generation fibreglass hoods and fenders getting them from? I'm not really too keen on doing the second generation conversion.- Paul Gagnon

Automakers Push Limits Of Gasoline Internal Combustion Engine
It's about time that manufacturers get off their butts and wring out more power and efficiency. I mean really if they could get 1500hp out of a 1.5L F1 engine back in 1986 why has it taken so long for any of that technology to get into passenger cars?- Paul Gagnon

Ford's new turbo charged Territory breaks cover (FALCON XR6 TURBO POWERTRAIN)
I believe the Falcon is just a little smaller than the Crown Victoria and quite a bit bigger than the Taurus. I've been wanting a Falcon for a few years now. Nothing like a 450hp family sedan. :smoke::smoke::smoke:- Paul Gagnon

Tell Me The Truth Is A 3" Body Lift As Bad As They Say?
I didn't ask anyone to agree with me, I just posted my opinion. I do not like body lifts, I don't like them structurally or esthetically and on this issue I cannot be swayed.- Paul Gagnon

Yeah but with a body lift the body mounts are right there in the open when you look at it from the side.- Paul Gagnon

Tell Me The Truth Is A 3" Body Lift As Bad As They Say?
I'm not a big fan of body lifts, they are ugly and put undue stress on the body and frame due to the increased leverage.- Paul Gagnon

Rebuilding a 2nd gen Explorer with a 1st gen rear clip
I hate to sound negative but jesus that's a lot of work for nothing. You could have achieved the same results by welding in the centre part of the '99 firewall and modifying or replacing the rad support.- Paul Gagnon

Speed limiter in reverse
First off I find the speed limiter in reverse to be extremely annoyning and unneccessary but my real question is: Has this ridiculously low limit affected your ability to get unstuck from mud or snow? Seems to me that in a situation where you would need to rock your vehicle back and forth the...- Paul Gagnon

Why isn't there a recall on the seatbelts of 2002-2005 Explorers?
I have noticed that the front seatbelts cut into the trim on the b-pillar near the upper seatbelt mount in the 2004 Explorer that I drive for work. This is starting to fray the seatbelt material. I find it hard to believe that this is the only late model Explorer with this problem and I'm...- Paul Gagnon

Engine running rough and rich.
I was thinking around $30-40 but I guess I am way off on that. Still a little shocked tha ta Ford part would list for $30 less than an aftermarket part. I was going to buy a gauge but they are very expensive too and my only other EFI vehicle is brand new so I'd probably only use it once. I got...- Paul Gagnon

Good shock upgrade...
RS5000s are a middle of the road shock. Ok for most terrain but not great. The thing that bothers me about them is how noisy they are. Squish squish squish every time you go over a bump or have any major suspension movement.- Paul Gagnon

Engine running rough and rich.
I am having a problem with my engine running rough and extremely rich. I have changed the spark plugs not too long ago, the coil, crank trigger and TFI module are all fairly new, the oxygen sensor is new and I sent the computer out for testing but it came back fine. Basically what happens is the...- Paul Gagnon

Anyone know if the Warrior 153 shackles fit a Ranger?
They won't work, Rangers use a different style of shackle. Explorer shackles mount around the frame while Rangers mount to a bracket outside the frame.- Paul Gagnon
