while trying to tune the radio, w/ eng. off, there seemed a timed sequence of a beep every 10 sec. any thoughts. it didn't do it the other day when i tried the radio.

drove the 93 exp. home today. wanted to look for leaks. the hood never completely would close. the guy at the garage slamed the hood closed. released the handle in dr. compartment. tried to move handle, wouldn't release the hood hook. is the hook jammed? any suggestions? thanks for all info.
