    A/c Compressor help

    I have a 1994 XL 4x4 explorer and the a/c compressor appears to have gone bad. the A/C system has been without coolant for years. What is my least expensive and least problematic course of action with this?

    Any thoughts on why this wouldn't work.

    I have a '96 Ranger Super cab with a SLA kit and a G2 Dana44 front axle and an '03 Ranger Fx4 L2 rear axle on 33's. I have about 6 inches of lift using EB springs in the front and scyjacker springs in the rear. A 1994 Explorer XL 4x4, AC, auto, and manual transfercase. Oh, and a 13 month old...
