I am not ASE certified or anything, but when you are in "2" I don't think you "start out in 2nd gear"... I am almost 100% sure that you are just limited to 1st and 2nd gears. You still start out in 1st gear though. Just "Drive" locks you into 3rd and then "OD" is your last step.

well... I did not realize WD-40 was "extremely flammable". I guess I don't spend a lot of time trying to ignite lubricants..... Go figure

More than likely WD-40 since it is not flamable like starting fluid. If there is a vacuum leak then the WD will bubble. You could probably use REALLY soapy water as well.
